The Italian Society of In Vitro Toxicology (CellTox) announced the new CellTox Board

Milan, Italy (February 1, 2018) - The Italian Society of In Vitro Toxicology (CellTox) announced their board election results for the organization's upcoming three year. The Board includes the following: President Diego Baderna (Institute for Pharmacological Research “Mario Negri”, Milan, Italy), Secretary Susanna Alloisio (ETT Spa, Genoa, Italy), Treasurer Nathalie Steimberg (University of Brescia, Italy), and Adviser Isabella De Angelis (Istituto Superiore di Sanità, Rome, Italy).

CellTox was founded in 1991 in Milan with the aim to put in contact the Italian researchers of public or private institutions, which carry out their activity in the field of In Vitro Toxicology, in order to promote the exchange of information and knowledge and provide opportunities of training in the field of alternative methods to young researchers.

CellTox is affiliated to ESTIV - European Society for In Vitro Toxicology - to facilitated the exchange of information concerning alternative and complementary methods to reduce animal testing in the European context.
